We are so thrilled to be featured in the Sacramento Bee "Dunne On Wine" article, "Don't Write Off Foothills' Cabernet." As you know, we are very proud of our seven unique estate cabernet sauvignon wines and are honored to inspire this article about our local region.
This weekend, come into the tasting room and say "El Dorado Cab is the Best!" and you will be rewarded with a taste of the Everhart Cellars 2013 Pilot Ridge Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon featured in the Sac Bee article.
March 11th - 11:30 - 5:30pm - Girl Scout Cookie Pairings
Join us as we taste our wines and support our local Girl Scouts! Featuring: 2014 Everhart Cellars Pinot Grigio with Lemonades, 2013 Hart 2 Hart Merlot with S'Mores, 2013 Everhart Cellars Petite Verdot with Caramel Delights, 2013 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon with Peanut Butter Patties. Bring an appetite and order some boxes from our local Girl Scouts to take home.
March 24th - 6:00pm - Winemaker Pairing Dinner - Save the Date!
Enjoy a gourmet five course meal paired with wine personally chosen by Winemaker Dominic Mantei and prepared by Palate Catering. Served at our beautiful Hart 2 Hart Vineyard Estate House.
Limited tickets will be available. $85/person, $75/Wine Club Members.
First Course: Shrimp and lobster wontons with a sweet chili cilantro sauce paired with Everhart Cellars Sparkling Wine.
Second Course: Tomato, zucchini, and leek puff pastry with roasted garlic goat cheese paired with 2015 Viognier.
Third Course: Bleu cheese wedge salad with cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced red onion, chopped bacon, and creamy bleu cheese dressing paired with 2013 Mourvedre.
Fourth Course: Two Options: Blackened filet of salmon with mango avocado salsa served on a bed of Peruvian rice and sauteed sugar snap peas OR Bacon wrapped pork loin roulade stuffed with sun-dried apricots, feta cheese, and spinach in a vanilla rum raisin glaze served with whipped red potatoes and sauteed vegetables. Paired with 2014 Barbera.
Fifth Course: Limoncello mascarpone cake with shaved white chocolate, paired with 2014 Orange Muscat Port Style Dessert Wine.
